Eric Rolek Design

This table was designed after the Japanese Torii Gates. I drew influence from the overall structure and traditional Japanese joinery when coming up with the final design. Instead of having the upright supports on both sides like traditional Torii gates, I choose to give make the table cantilever on one side. I choose to use Walnut, Cherry and White Oak for the table because of the similarities to traditional Torii Gates and finished it with a several layers of polyurethane finish.
