Later I cut and altered the vessels while combining them to create the final shape. I finished it off with some surface texture and verity of color slips and glazes. | PentangioThis ceramic form was created from combining 5 thrown vessels of increasing weights from 1lbs to 5lbs. Later during the high firing some crack developed along the thicker parts. I plan to create more tall ceramic forms with thinner more structured walls. | White UngulateThis sculpture was inspired by amorphic structure and how the basic form can be manipulated. I was inspired by how ceramics when leather-hard can be transformed to unrecognizable shapes from its original form. This piece is constructed by combining five thrown vessels of various sizes. |

TrockThis lidded container was influenced by multiple traditional ceramic cultures from around the world. I took different attributes from each culture and combined them together. | TrockThis lidded container was influenced by multiple traditional ceramic cultures from around the world. This lidded container was created as an experiment with various textures mixed with several glazes and oxides. Some of the experiments can be seen in later ceramic pieces. | This image shows the ceramic forms glazed and ready to be high fired. | sculpture center peice2.jpeg |
